he General Assembly is a prime opportunity for active Hillel students; students interested in learning more about the Jewish community; students interested in networking with and talking to Jewish lay-leaders and professionals about issues of importance on campus; and students interested in a career in the Jewish community. Hundreds of Jewish students from around the world participate each year.
Description:
The United Jewish Communities General Assembly is the annual gathering of the organized Jewish community. This conference typically attracts 5,000 participants including Jewish lay leaders, professionals, undergraduate and graduate students. Special student programs are held which provide opportunities to network with other students from around the world as well as Jewish community leaders from a variety of Jewish and secular professions. The GA is also an opportunity for people to gather and discuss issues in their communities relating to Jewish identity, community relations, policy and current trends in the Jewish community.
Fees:
Students who will need a hotel stay: $150.00
Commuter students: $100.00
